Fridays and Magic

Thank God it's Friday!

Fridays are the best days of my life. The way my schedule works out, they are the only days that I dont have to get up ridiculously early to get to classes on time.

I was reading a blog on my college's website, and the girl writing it said that it usually isn't difficult to set up your schedule so that you have no classes on Friday. Definitely look into this. It would make your life so much easier. Plus you would have something to look forward to the rest of the week.

RIT uses a quarter system. Instead of having two semesters, there are four quarters in a year: fall, winter, spring, and summer. The first quarter of your freshman year, they register you for all your classes. Then, starting in the winter quarter, you register for your own. My goal: no Friday classes and no 8:00AM classes. Mornig classes are of the devil.

Another reason to love Friday: Payday!!
Not that the money's gonna stick around for long.

AND, did you know that Fridays are magic?
Oh yes. Example:
This morning I realized that my gas gauge was on E. I was completely out of cash.
The worst part was that I had the money to completely fill my gas tank.
But it was in rolled coin, and I had no time to go and cash it.
So I found a ten that my mom let me borrow, since I'm getting paid today and would pay her back tonight. Now for the magic.

I was trying to decide which jacket I should wear today. I wanted to wear my brown leather, but it didn't match. So I put on the black leather.
I reach into the pocket, and guess what I find?
A ten dollar bill.

It's those kinds of moments that will keep you going as a commuter.
